Description Alexander van Loon 2011-01-17 16:33:10 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

I’m on KMail 4.6 beta 3. I wanted to save a message with the headers included. I decided to do so by double clicking a message in the message list so that it would open in a new window. Then, using the menu of the new window, I chose ‘File ➝ Save As...’ to save the message as an mbox file. When I opened the resulting mbox file with Kate I noticed there were no headers included.

Then I tried merely selecting the message in the message list and then chose ‘File ➝ Save As...’ to save the message, using Kontat menu. If I save this message with this method, it did include the headers.

Of course, I don’t think it’s intended behavior that these two methods to save the a message save it differently. Both should save the message with headers included.

Reproducible: Didn't try
