Could you please test with amarok 2.4 beta which was released yesterday? Ok, I'm compiling the new 2.4 from git. Have you consider the Opensuse Build Service for make packages for every distribution ? ;) 2010/12/8 Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259158 > > > Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED > Resolution|DUPLICATE | > > > > > --- Comment #3 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam kde org> 2010-12-08 > 11:23:31 --- > Reopening then. Just for your information: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download:SUSE It was a suggestion for the project. XD I'm not able to understand how OBS works, so I can't help with that. I'll remain reporting bugs, that I can do it. ;) 2010/12/8 Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259158 > > > > > > --- Comment #5 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam kde org> 2010-12-08 > 13:26:33 --- > Sorry, but it's not our task to make packages for distributions, but up to > the > distribution packagers, you should ask them. > Just for your information: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download:SUSE > > -- > Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email > ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- > You reported the bug. > So were you able to reproduce this crash? Hello. I got this crash more or less repeatedly, but I just could get a decent backtrace when running with --nofork.
Hi again, I'm inlining my system details: Application: amarok (2.4.0) KDE Platform Version: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5) Qt Version: 4.7.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.37.3 x86_64 Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid) Thank you for the backtrace, Raul, but you don't have the amarok debugging symbols installed. If you can reproduce this bug, please check here on how to get a valid backtrace: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Created attachment 59518 [details]

Hello. Same situation as before, but I hope the backtrace this time is good enough. Regards,
Thank you for the backtrace, this time it worked. This is a duplicate of bug 261839. Please check which external scripts you use and report this to the script author. I also suggest you upgrade your KDE version, 4.4.5 is rather outdated. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 261839 *** |
