Description Szakál Dániel 2010-06-12 09:40:27 UTC
Version: 0.9.6 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

This is a bug, which I didn't experience under KDE 4.2, I remember. When I quit a program (even KDE or GTK one) the neither middle-click doesn't paste previously selected text, nor the ctrl+v pastes the ctrl+c-ed text, only if I keep open the application I selected the text in, or if I select the last item (the text) from right click/klipper history

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
select/ctrl+c text and exit application

Actual Results:
no paste without checking back the history

Expected Results:
working paste after application exit

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

This bug is fixed in kde 4.5 (trunk), but wasnt backported to 4.4. It is commit 229052. The problem with non qt applications is still there in kde 4.5 (see 241517)
