You need a newer taglib version, 1.6.3 should fix this, please update your system. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 227599 *** Already running 1.6.3-0ubuntu1 version of taglib, actually. As per comments on bug 227599, this version does not appear to fix the problem. Per comments in this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/taglib/+bug/572432/comments/26 Am going to test using amarokcollectionscanner and report results. This doesn't change the fact that this is a duplicate, check the backtraces, those are identical. Please add your comments to the original report, the triagers then decide with the developers if it's going to be reopenend. I use the Kubuntu taglib version (libtag1c2a 1.6.3-0ubuntu1) and can't reproduce this here at all, are you sure your system is up-to-date? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 227599 *** Sorry, you're right. I'll add any info from the command-line collection run to the originating bug. I apologize for the unnecessary aggro. And yes, I've run update, and as I mentioned, that's exactly the version of libtag1c2a that's being reported as installed on my system, 1.6.3-0ubuntu1. Explicit attempts to install it again return "already the newest version." |
