Description Nathanel Titane 2010-01-06 18:20:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The icon for the kde network management system is UGLY... it's pixelized and doesn't look too sleek and shiny... Any way to make an update for it.. or to redesign it??

- Can you attach a screenshot of the icon you are seeing using this link: https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=221553&action=enter ?
Thanks

Reassign Network Management bugs to new maintainer. Have a lot of fun, Lamarque!

Is this bug still valid? should we close it?
Comment 6 Lamarque V. Souza 2013-02-26 21:33:39 UTC
Yes, this is still valid. The current Plasma NM icon is ugly.
Comment 7 Ivo Smelhaus 2014-01-18 12:24:29 UTC
But first of all, the icon showing strenght of WiFi signal should be readable, i.e. a user should be able to recognize the strenght. I know, you use the same style as volume which is really hard to get as well, but for volume it is not so important to get that information and if you want, you can get it in popup. Here that means 2 clicks.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Please test again with the latest version and file a new bug in plasma-nm. Thank you!
