I think it would make KTorrent's workflow much more efficient if this was possible. Also, I think a global keyboard shortcut for this action would be useful as well. Lastly, it'd be nice if the tray icon reflected KTorrent's paused/resume status (perhaps a small paused emblem over the bottom-right corner of the main icon?).

In my ktorrent version (3.3.4), I do have a global shortcut for pausing/resuming ktorrent activity and the associated tray icon reflecting the state.

However, middle-click on tray icon seems to have no effect.. That would be a great feature though.
