Description Walter Landry 2009-10-09 01:52:32 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30-1-amd64

When displaying the letters that you type, the bottom 30% of the characters are not displayed. This is true whether or not the keyboard is being shown.

Checked this issue with Kubuntu 10.10 (kde 4.6.2) and master/branch 4.6.3 compiled from sources.
I can not reproduce this bug, with or without displayed keyboard and making the main window as small as possible.

Please try again with an up to date kde, thanks.

I tried the latest version from git on my current machine (KDE 4.4.5), and it still had the same problem. I also tried kubuntu, and it did not have this problem. So the bug does not seem to be in ktouch, but rather the underlying libraries.

So you can feel free to close this bug. If I can reproduce it in Debian unstable (KDE 4.6), I will take it up with them.
