Description peter.hine 2009-09-10 02:16:21 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 "Mars Pathfinder" (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 163", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.29-0.1-pae

on a target system, change a directory of your choice
create some files. EG:
echo bob> file_bob
echo fred> file_fred

Use Ctrl-S, remove case sensitivity and subdirs.

Search for all files (*) looking for the text bob.

all files will be returned in results, including subdir names

do the same on a local file system, and it will work as expected. This used to work (like using soft links - 206922).

Thanks
H

Still reproduciable using 2.4.0-beta3.

It works as expected after enabling the "Remote content search" checkbox.
