Description Shlomi Fish 2009-09-08 22:48:04 UTC
Version: amarok-2.1.80-1mdv2010.0 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

When dragging and dropping files without ID3 Tags (such as .avi and other video files, or .mp3's that have empty ID3 tags) to the Amarok playlist, their entry in the playlist is empty. It should install default to the filename.

I'm using amarok-2.1.80-1mdv2010.0 (Amarok 2.2.x beta) on Mandriva Linux Cooker (which is like Debian Testing for Mandriva).

Regards,

You can already add the filename to the playlist layout with current 2.2 beta 1.

As far as I know, the track type that is generated when adding a non collection file to the playlist should automatically use the filename as the name of no tags are set. So if this does not work it is a regression.
