I don't know if this backtrace is helpful, subscribing Nikolaj Marcos, make sure you have all debugging packages installed, please see also here: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Hi, I have amarok-debuginfo installed. What else is required? Qt debuginfo packages? I can't install a lot of debug packages since they take way to much disk space. But if it's only a couple of them it should be ok. The backtrace looks like bug 204236 but that should be fixed already on beta1. Thanks Well, apparently it is not, as he uses 2.2 beta 1. It seems to only happen for some users, not for everybody, so a better backtrace would be needed I think. Marking as duplicate, let's take that discussion to the original bug I am going to reopen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 204236 *** The backtrace is ok. Marcos, could you please attach your custom playlist layout xml file to this bug? You can find it in the Amarok user dir (usually in ~/kde/share/apps/amarok/playlist_layouts) I am going to need the exact layout that causes a crash. Created attachment 36768 [details]
