Could you please type CTRL+ESC and see if the application is still running ? You can also check with ps -A in a terminal. From what I've experienced so far, it only happens for applications which can have more than one window at a time. So ordinarily the process that created the window will still be running, when the problem appears. However I've just tried closing Kopete, which is currently showing this problem, and killing any processes (with kill -9) that showed up in "ps aux | grep kopete". Even when this have been done, I still have a lingering kopete box in the task manager. But when I closed kopete, the title in the task manager box changed from "Kopete" to nothing, leaving an empty box with a kopete icon in. Btw. Lotus Notes is a Java/GTK application, so it the problem isn't limited to Qt based applications. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 202199 *** |
