It would be nice, if the option to display clouds (available in marble) would be accessible in the "globe" wallpaper, too.

Would it be enough to enable clouds by default? They vanish when zooming in anyways.
Or is it better to have yet another option?

In my opinion, the default would be sufficient.

AFAIK it was disabled because things start looking ugly when you don't have an internet connection and Marble tries to update the cloud layer. Furthermore, the cloud texture distortions at the poles (projection issue) don't look very nice either. Therefore I tend to leave it like it is now until these issues are solved within Marble.
