If you have many albums, it gets quite annoying to assign thumbnails to the albums in the treeview.
I think it would be handy to have an option to turn on auto-generation of thumbnails.
You can still assign thumbnails on your own, if you don't like the default ones, but you don't have to do this tedious task for every single album in your collection.

This patch implements this feature (the basic functionality at least).
You can either automatically assign the first item of each album, or a random image from within the album as a thumbnail.

Another interesting patch, a little bit more complex than date PAlbum creation one.
