Description Dennis Schridde 2009-06-21 14:20:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.3 Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.2, pie-10.1.5
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I am using a DIMAP account and can create folders in the main namespace (rightclick on the account-folder, create new - a new folder shows up in the hierarchy right below the account-folder).
I can also rclick on an existing folder and choose "move -> account-folder" and it will be moved.
However, dragging an existing folder onto the account-folder will result in the "denied" icon (red stroked circle) and the folder can not be moved this way.

Correction: The folder will not be moved if I choose the move action from the rclick menu. It will be copied instead. (Shall I open another bug on this issue?)

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
