Description Daniel 2009-06-10 18:48:32 UTC
Version:           2.1 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Slackware Packages

When moving the mouse cursor over the Track Progress line, and trying to fast forward/backward the song with the mouse wheel, it just clicks and pops, but stays in the actual position.

You might have to associate the key shortcuts on the wheel action first? Not sure these are set as default
Comment 2 Daniel 2009-06-11 09:55:30 UTC
It is clear that Amarok does something when using the mouse wheel over the Track progress bar, and I'm quite sure it tries to search in the track but it can not (hence the weird sounds while spinning the wheel). Is it working for you? (This was working in Amarok 1.x).

BTW, I can not assign the mouse wheel to that shortcut.

Yeah, something is wrong there. Using the wheel on slider I'm getting this debug output:

amarok: BEGIN: virtual void Amarok::Slider::wheelEvent(QWheelEvent*)
amarok:   BEGIN: void EngineController::seek(int)
amarok:   END__: void EngineController::seek(int) - Took 0.00032s
amarok: END__: virtual void Amarok::Slider::wheelEvent(QWheelEvent*) - Took 0.00076s

So it's actually trying to seek, but not correctly.
