Description Gary Campbell 2009-05-24 03:33:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

the Ubuntu 8.10 upgrade continued with another similar crash for "The application KDE Daemon (kded4) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV)." The upgrade ended with a message the that the upgrade was successful and to continue managing packages or returning to other operations.

There is a message
"This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces," I do not know what that means.
