After suspending and resuming again the list of wireless networks gets multiplied. Attached screenshot probably gives the best description.

Use "solid-network listdevices" to discover the identifier (UNI) of your wireless interface.

Then use "solid-network listnetworks <interface identifier> to list the identifier of all the access points seen by this interface.

Then use "solid-network query network <interface identifier> <network identifier>" to get the details of this network

Does the list of access points include these duplicates?

Hello Will!

I can confirm this issue too.
I have tried what you asked, and i have found that it only lists that network once.

Intresting that if i reboot then the problem still exists, but it can occurred by suspends at me too.

Versions:
Qt: 4.5.0
KDE: 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1))
kde4-config: 1.0
(kubuntu jaunty)

Can you reproduce this now with knetworkmanager (0.9, svn revisions > 1010000) ?
Comment 5 Bob K 2009-08-17 09:26:46 UTC
Three problems here:
- Ubuntu Jaunty has older version than what you specified
- Now i'm unable (because of time and skill) to compile that
- I have completely removed every networkmanagement related stuff and now i'm using wicd

Sorry:( I hope somebody will be able to test that. Maybe i will test karmic koala soon, and if it have the correct version i will report the results!

Thank you for taking time for this!

Fixed with knetworkmanager
