Description Tamás Németh 2009-04-09 10:48:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Windows RDP servers give clients the possibility to "connect to console", which means to connect to an RDP server without a terminal client licence server. In fact this mode is the most often used pne, since this mode is meant to mange windows servers. Without this option I can only connect to RDP servers with a license server, that is a (mostly) commercial application server. Because of this I have to use the commandline rdesktop utility instead of krdc all the time.

Connect to console is implemented with the '-0' option in commandline rdesktop, and '/console' option in Microsoft's mstsc.exe. Please implement it in krdc too, in order to make it possible to manage windows servers without extra terminal client licence servers.
