If you add a lot of content into one of the columns of an editor view overflowing text gets clipped (with the "..." dots). In a tree of accounts for example the whole items might be hidden.

I think it would be great if columns would adapt to the content and resize dynamically if there's no or just little content in the other columns (aka plenty of space available).

This is standard QTreeView behavior.
