Version: KOffice2, Beta7 (r937167) (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

(From Bugsquad KOfficeDay2)

It would be nice if the graphic dependencies editor would already perform basic scheduling, example:
1. Add tasks T1, T2, T3
2. Add 2 subtasks ST2.1, ST2.2 below T2
3. Insert a finish-start dependency from ST2.1 to ST2.2
4. Insert finish-start dependencies from T1 to T2 and from T2 to T3
The dependency viewer doesn't give a graphical indication that T2 "contains" ST2.1 and ST2.2. Even after performing a schedule the view stays the same. I would have assumed for it to show data similar to the gantt view.

Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion.

The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed.

We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications:

- KWord was replaced with Calligra Words
- KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan

For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calligra_Suite
