Today i found folderview asking me if i where sure about starting the command firefox.

This make me feel like i can't determine it by myself like they think users are in another OS...

this is to address the vulnerabilities of untrusted .desktop files.

-1 for making unnecessary allusions to Vista as if that's going to somehow add additional weight and heft to your bug.

It doesn't need any more weight, Aaron. This isn't gonna like to many users. Will see, maybe i'm wrong but i really hope thath the path to unnecessary warnings will not be taken. 

I know .desktop files can bring vulnerabilities but a little window asking if you are sure or not of what you just did isn't very powerful as a solution as people really quickly get used to click "YES" or "OK" without reading!
