Description Henning Fleddermann 2009-02-16 17:17:39 UTC
Version: 2.0.1.1 (using KDE 4.2.0)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.3 (Gentoo 4.3.3 p1.0, pie-10.1.5)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Whenever I try to playback an audio-file (only tried mp3s so far) which has an umlaut in it's path (for example "/home/henning/mp3/Die Ärzte/Le Frisur/16-AudioTrack 16.mp3") amarok stops playing.
The console output says:
QString::arg: Argument missing: Amarok - No track playing., 0:00
QString::arg: Argument missing: Amarok - No track playing., 0:00
QString::arg: Argument missing: Amarok - No track playing., 0:00
QString::arg: Argument missing: Amarok - No track playing., 0:00
xine is asking to seek behind the end of the data stream

The QString-line always appears once when starting a new track, but not four times.

This is a known bug in Phonon or xine or so, I can't remember exactly. But this report is definitely a dupe, and has been fixed I think.

You might want to upgrade some components, and search bugs.kde.org for existing (or closed) reports.
