I read most of my articles within akreagtor, making use of tabs. By default, the tab bar is hidden until a tab is opened. Having the tab bar appear and shift the "articles" GUI down whenever no tabs are open (i.e. on startup or when I've read a few stories and closed all the tabs) is distracting. I would like an option to always show the tab bar as this works best for people like me who always make use of tabs. I could understand you wanting to hide the tab bar if tabs were not used however (I saw a review comparing akregator to another reader and not hiding tabs was a con against akregator at the time in the review).
