Version:           2.1 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.9", openSUSE 11.1)

The terminal doesn't remember user created profiles. Also default profiles (like "Root") are created repeatedly.

The 'root' profile is an extension added by OpenSuse but I suspect the same would happen for any profile in an application data directory which is read-only for the user.
