Description PaulB 2009-02-05 16:10:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When setting monitor gamma through system settings-display the changes only apply until I reboot. Upon reboot I have to go back into system-settings->display and select the gamma tab to re-apply my gamma settings.

How to reproduce:

Open display settings and change your gamma settings. Click apply and close display settings. Now reboot. Gamma settings will have reverted to defaults. Open display settings again. Upon clicking the gamma tab you should see the previously set gamma settings instantly applied.

Expected behaviour:

Gamma settings should persist once set.

There is a checkbox "Save settings system wide", did you select that?

Looks like KGamma reset own settings: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=268174
