Description Michael 2009-02-04 15:29:09 UTC
Version:           1.11.90 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

kmail somehow messes multipart when signing.
I'll attach a screenshot of how a messages sent by kmail is shown by kmail (same in other mailers) and the message itself.

Forgot to mention, it happens only when attachments are used. text/plain works fine

I just tested this and can not reproduce. (I tested plain message + jpeg attachment, signed with S/MIME).

There was a brief period where KMail trunk created incorrect messages, maybe you happened to test with one of those? Can you test with a newer version please?

The reason for the corrupt message is the messed up boundary string: --Boundary-02=_eWaiJJnjs56KDHRpe: image/jpeg;

KMail
Version 1.11.90
Using KDE 4.2.61 (KDE 4.2.61 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090127)) "release 1.4"

and all works now!
