Description Christoph Lange 2009-02-02 15:14:11 UTC
Version: 4.2.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-tuxonice-r1

I usually have the search bar hidden. Whenever I go to Settings -> Configure KTimeTracker, regardless of whether I leave this dialog with "OK" or "Cancel", the search bar is re-enabled.

Fixed on trunk with the new behavior that ktimetracker just displays ktimetrackerpart, just as the kontact plugin does.
Comment 2 Christoph Lange 2009-08-17 21:21:10 UTC
Seems that this one came back. Note that I took over my configuration from KDE 4.2.4. Also, when the search bar is in this state of being displayed when it should not, the corresponding menu item is unchecked. In order to hide the search bar again, I have to click that menu item twice: once for making ktimetracker realize that it is displaying the search bar (then, the bar will still be displayed, but now the menu reflects this), and once more for finally hiding it.
Comment 3 Christoph Lange 2009-08-19 17:59:37 UTC
The search bar also is displayed every time I start ktimetracker. Is this just another facet of this bug, or would you like me to report it as another bug?
Comment 4 Christoph Lange 2009-08-19 18:00:09 UTC
I should have said that the previous two comments refer to KDE 4.3.0.

No need to report a separate bug :)
At the moment, I get a crash when calling settings->configure ktimetracker.
Working on this.
