Description Christoph Lange 2009-02-02 14:49:04 UTC
Version: 4.2.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-tuxonice-r1

Whenever I start or stop a task, a small window appears on the screen for a few milliseconds. I think I once spotted a progress bar in there. So if this is the new progress bar, would it be possible to only display it for long-running actions? -- Maybe by not displaying it at the beginning of something, but only after half a second?

(Thorsten, you see that I upgraded to KDE 4.2 -- so far I'm quite satisfied :-)

No, the window only appears when you stop a task. But if you double-click, you stop the other running task.
I general, absolutely true, should be fixed.

You're right, in most cases I switch tasks by double-clicking.
