Description Jan 2009-01-24 23:20:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I can't type characters like these:
El Niño, Crème Fraîche, Café

With Gnome it works well, also at a virtual console. But KDE is ignoring the settings.
Even when i set a keyboardlayout at the systemsettings i cant type those characters.

This bug effects my desktop pc also as my laptop. Both are DELL Inspirons.
