Oh and the LDAP Server is a Microsoft Active Directory Server The same problem. I tried to connect to MS AD server with LDAP lookup, but there is no result - i'v got error messages. But when making ldapsearch in console - all o'k Update with KDE 4.2. LDAP lookup itself works. I still have slight problems when using an ldap addressbook. It finds all the names and then reports an error that it got an empty result. Very annoying. But After filtering properly (and thus getting rid of the limit exceed problem of our AD server) on email the cache does work. I set my address book to always go against the local cache and that works fine now. The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4. Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product. |
