It would be nice if one could save one's default preferences for the marking tools, such as highlighting color/transparency, or color/thickness/transparency of 'draw ellipse'. For example, the default thickness of the ellipse drawing tools is huge, and since it covers the text it makes it hard to read. Changing the settings for each marking is awkward and time consuming.
