Displaying the "Grade boxes" panel, and selecting a grade, clears the vocab. list, despite the fact that there are words of the selected grade in the vocabulary. One must click on a lesson in order to restore the vocab. list.

Thanks for reminding me. Grade boxes should have been disabled for 4.2 as they will be the basis for an improved Leitner system, but are not finished.

The ui has changed since then.
