Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

The kget systray icon shows a blinking play button. This is:
a) annoying
b) power-inefficient.

Please present an option to disable that animation and just show a continuous play icon there to convey that a download is in progress.

Please change the severity to wish.

Done...
Comment 3 Amit Shah 2009-02-23 06:04:13 UTC
I believe that the animation is unnecessary and wastes power so it's a bug and not a wish list.
Comment 4 Lukas Appelhans 2009-02-23 12:47:07 UTC
Na, it'd be a bug if sometimes would not work correctly. Here it is working correctly, but you want it different, so a wish. ;)

Far worse, if I disable kget's tray icon altogether, one can no longer hide kget.
If I don't disable it, I get an annoying head-ache due to the constant flickering.

The blinking is already removed in trunk...

But thanks for pointing me here this was a duplicate of another report xD
