Description Claus Wilke 2009-01-08 20:59:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Kwin settings:
-Focus follows mouse
-Auto raise
-no focus delay

Description:
If an application has more than one window open, and one of its windows is closed, then the focus goes to another window of the same application, even if the mouse is not in that window.

How to reproduce:
On an empty desktop, open konqueror. Open a second window with File->New Window. Now open konsole, and arrange the windows such that the konsole window lies between the two konqueror windows. Now close the top konqueror window (CTRL-Q). The mouse will be in the konsole window, but the konqueror window underneath will have the focus.

If two independent instances of konqueror are started, instead of one instance with two windows, then the problem does not occur and the konsole window gets focus as expected.
