Summary: new key binding list, we need to configure F key from to output the following F1 = ^C F2 = *k*\r F3 = *m*\r F4 = *p*\r F5 = *l*\r (not incliding the = ) how can i do this as the output at the moment says * is 1

This is not really konsole related.  There are apps that can map the keyboard keys to different commands.  I would suggest asking the ubuntu mailing lists or try googling.
