Description Martin van Es 2009-01-06 10:51:21 UTC
Version: 4.1.85 (beta 2) (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I noticed that adept run via kdesudo looks different than adept run directly as root. The first does not use root's appearance settings.
At least the font (size and anti-aliasing) is wrong (well, different).
To be clear: neither the normal user's setting, nor root's settings is used!

"kdesudo" is not part of the KDE Software Compilation (only "kdesu" is), but a distribution specific addon. Please report this bug to https://launchpad.net/kdesudo

I'm observing this very issue with kdesu too. The window decoration and window colors are mismatched so that the gradient doesn't blend when running "kdesu dolphin". This doesn't happen when running "sudo dolphin"--the gradient is perfect.
