Description Ian Turner 2009-01-05 05:54:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open an e-mail with a message/rfc822 attachment. (If you don't have one, take an existing message and forward it to yourself as an attachment.)

2. In the MIME tree display, find the message/rfc822 attachment. The attachment type should read "email message".

3. Drag the attachment into a KMail folder: "inbox", for example.

Expected behaviour: The attached message would be copied into the selected mailbox.

Actual behaviour: A "no drop" cursor is displayed and no action takes place.

Workaround:
1. Drag the attachment to a filesystem folder (such as the desktop)
2. Drag the resulting file to the destination e-mail folder
3. Delete the intermediate file created in step 1.

Confirmed in kmail 1.11.0 (kde 4.2).

But I do not know if this is a bug or a wish. I let the developers choose.

Note this is still an issue in Kmail 1.12.0 (KDE 4.3.0)
