Description Ray Eden 2008-12-22 12:40:24 UTC
Version: 2.1.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), MS Visual Studio 2005 SP1)
Compiler: cl.exe
OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Home Edition)

I am using Gwenview on Windows XP and it doesn't list my NTFS partition on the Start Page under "Places", but I can access it and it is listed under Recent Folders.

Please, provide us with more information:
1) Does your NTFS partition shows in other applications that use the "Places" bar, e.g. Dolphin?
2) How the first partition is shown there? As a red ROOT folder?
3) How many partitions do you have and are they shown?

Hi! I have recently install KDE 4.2 on Windows platform and I can try to answer these three questions.

In KDE 4.2 only C: partition is displayed both as "Home" with a blue directory and "Root" with a red directory icon in all applications that use the "Places" bar.
I have another NTFS partition and it is not displayed. I have to add
it manually.

The "Places" list is provided by a widget from kdelibs (KFilePlacesView), reassigning the bug.
