Description simon 2008-12-16 22:26:16 UTC
Version: 0.10.0-beta7 (using 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-tuxonice

hi,

i connected the camera via usb and the thumbs were shown in the importer dialog, but as the camera was on low power it shut down (i didn't noticed)

Then i started downloading the selected images and as the camera wasn't functional each image got that not-available-sign (red traffic sign)

i closed the importer dialog, reconnected the camera and now the images which were supposed to download but aren't , have the questionmark sign (whatever state that is?) and are not in the state "new" anymore, although they weren't succsessfully imported.

the images should be marked as new as long as they aren't imported successfully

Simon your report is from Dec 16 but the first beta7 tarballs were announced two days later. Is this SVN or beta6?
I ask because a bug in that area was fixed between beta6 and beta7. All items, failed or successful, were marked as downloaded.
Even more strange is the unknown icon you are experiencing, because I dont know how that could happen. It's either yes or no in the code.

it was a svn version, but the bug is fixed in the current revision and the strange sign doesn't appear anymore
