Description Mike Bridge 2008-12-01 00:10:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I attempted to upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid via (kdesudo "adept_manager --dist-upgrade".) It failed with this message

can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore)
can't load DistUpgradeViewGtk (No module named Common.SimpleGladeApp)
can't load DistUpgradeViewKDE (No module named PyQt4.QtCore)

Installing python-qt4 fixed the problem. Suggest that when this situation is encountered, The system checks for python-qt4 and then asks to install it if not found.

Hi,

this is a Kubuntu-specific problem, please report via launchpad. Thank you for your patience.
