Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2008-11-12 08:35:14 UTC
Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 51.1", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.18-0.2-default

the text of the encapsulated message is displayed in the main window - but without headers !, but clicking on "Encapsulated message" opens a window with just (source)
X-UID: 2885

looking in to the source of the message there I see message headers of the encapsulated message.

forwarding this message from thunderbird was only possible as attachment - didn't work "inline"

I can send this message privately to someone

Strange bug... Since you say that you have a testcase, I am forwarding this to the kmail developers for further investigation.
Comment 2 Thomas McGuire 2008-11-25 14:20:07 UTC
You can forward the message to me. As attachment please, not inline, otherwise the message structure wouldn't be preserved.

Yeah, confirmed. This one is a bit tricky, but I'll work on it.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
