Description John Griffiths 2008-11-11 19:50:43 UTC
The KDE3 digital clock allowed the selection of multiple time zones. When the
mouse was hovered over the clock, a popup panel would appear showing the time
in each of the time zones. This is a really nice feature for those that have
contacts in various regions of the world.

welcome to 4.2.
Comment 2 John Griffiths 2008-11-12 01:24:39 UTC
That is a another way of saying fxxx you to your users. Not a good idea.

Users do not have to use KDE at all.
Comment 3 Médéric Boquien 2008-11-12 01:30:30 UTC
Hello John,

Could you remain polite please? Developers have spent time to reintroduce this feature for 4.2. KDE 3.5 is not actively developed anymore as all resources are focused on KDE 4.

Thanks.

John,
The response was *good news*. The feature is coming, and soon, with kde-4.2.x, only a couple of months away.

Your remark was unfounded and unfair.
Comment 5 John Griffiths 2008-11-12 01:38:04 UTC
I was referring to Aaron's comment as being an implied ---- you. I was the one that put in the X's to try to keep it polite.

If Aaron had said we are working on that in 4.2 would have been one thing but the way it was expressed seemed to indicate that he did not give a hoot about the loss of functionality.

Sorry I misunderstood Aarons reply. It is not my intention to be offensive. I filed the bug as a wishlist bug to express my desire to have the previous functionality.
