Description Dotan Cohen 2008-11-10 20:06:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am using Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4.1 and Digikam 0.9.4. I have the Folder View plasmoid enabled, which displays the contents of ~/Desktop on the desktop.

When I erase photos from Digikam, a new folder is created in ~/Desktop called "trash" (Translated from Hebrew. On my system it was called "אשפה") and in that folder are found the photos that I deleted from Digikam. Only the photos from Digikam are found in that folder. Items that were deleted from Konqueror do not show in that folder. Also, that folder does not have standard Trash functions such as Restore function.

I cannot confirm this problem with current digiKam implementation from svn (beta7 - i'm not sure with beta6)

Running digiKam under KDE4 desktop and removing items work fine. all go to the trash.

It's the same if i remove albums. I go to the trash

Dotan,

No, works fine here (running under KDE3 and KDE4).
