Description David Todd 2008-10-21 20:36:31 UTC
Version: 2.0-SVN (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-desktop586-0.rc7.1.1mnb

When trying to generate a dynamic playlist, the progress bar stops at 49%. I have tried various different dynamic playlists and they all do the same.

I have just discovered this is not very reproducible. After closing amaroK and re-opening it now works.
Comment 2 Mark Kretschmann 2008-10-21 22:22:40 UTC
Then maybe it's a variant of the "Statusbar Stuck" bug. Closing as dupe.

Bug 172987 is fixed for the CoverFetcher so I'll reopen this one instead since it's more specific.

I am also experiencing the same behavior with this in version 1.94 from Kubuntu.

The playlist in the status bar will hang. If I cancel out the "generating playlist" tasks, the playlist will not populate automatically after that again. It will not populate when I press "repopulate playlist". The only cure is to exit the program and come back in.

Screen shot attached showing multiple "generating playlist" tasks hanging. However, at the time of this shot, tracks were still being appended with the dynamic playlist correctly.
