Attachments: an invalid koffice (krita) file obtained by saving a layer called MIRÓ

Description Pablo Pita 2008-10-11 16:03:56 UTC
Version: 1.6.3 (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have got a problem with the saving of a layer whose name contains accents (as miró) to a new krita image file. When I try to open the new file, a message appears saying that the new file is not a valid koffice file.

Hm, that is weird --I cannot reproduce that. Could you please attach the corrupted file so I can investigate?

I have just reproduced again, working with this image:

having a layer called MIRÓ, and trying to save such layer in a new krita file. I just attached the "invalid" file.

That's weird thing is that the zip archive (.kra are in fact zip files) seems corrupted. The good thing is that it doesn't happen in 2.0. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of 1.6.3 around to test if I can reproduce.

can't reproduce this bug in either krita2beta2 or lastest stable, I can use accents and other weird symbols for layer names without getting an invalid file.

Fixed in 2.0
