Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

The recently used widget list is always empty.
To reproduce:
 Close any plasma widget. Not right click on desktop/panel->Add Widgets
 In the drop menu, select "Widgets I have used before". The list is empty, even after you reboot.

I can confirm this using:
KDE4.1.3 and KDE4.2svn (kdelibs svn rev.893007 / kdebase svn rev.893019)
Qt: 4.4.3
on ArchLinux 2.6.27.7 x86_64

SVN commit 902023 by mart:

actually save/update/restore the "widget used before" list
to not pollute the list, all are saved to disk running and not running,
but only the ones no longer running are shown to the user
