Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Downstream bugreport:https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=44481

The KDE4 File Open Dialogue truncates to 18 characters. This isn't enough when
trying to administer a PC through the GUI. See attached screenshot for an
illustration of the problem.

I complained to ereslibre about this recently.

He added tooltips, that are working fine (in trunk).

So can this bug be closed now as won't fix or worksforme?
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2008-12-25 17:39:26 UTC
Marking as worksforme. You have now the tooltips for filenames that are chopped in the icon view. Also, you can use the Detailed view to get a full lenght filename view (or a lot more than the icon view) :)
