Description grashdur 2008-09-12 03:25:09 UTC
Version: Kontact Calendar 3.5.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Compiler: Ubuntu Hardy Heron used on Gnome desktop
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I do a printout of a month, the text in each day is a bit clunky and hard to follow. This is for several reasons:

- There is no way to change the size of the page margins, which are currently huge. If I could shrink the top, bottom, and right margins much smaller, there would be more room for the text in each day.

- Kontact tries to word-wrap the text for each event, often not very well. I'd like to be able to disable text wrapping here.

- Also, if the bars separating the dates could be thinner, then it would be possible to make text margins slightly smaller within each date, which would free up even a bit more space for the event text.

In addition, all-day events do not consistently show up at the top of each day, but sometimes are listed after some of the time-specific events.

Also, text sometimes spills out of the day to which it belongs.
