Description Oliver Putz 2008-09-06 14:22:29 UTC
Version: 0.9.1 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-gentoo-r7

Currently, when you are in practice mode and see that you made a typo creating some vocabulary entry, there is no way of correcting this mistake without aborting the practice session. I'd therefore suggest a button that -- when pressed -- directly opens the dialog to modify a certain vocabulary entry. (so that you can correct the spelling mistake without having to abort the training session)

Such a functionality would be quite useful. But I would suggest a slightly different approach.
Instead of opening an editor during practice, in order to keep clean and separate the two distinct workflows (practicing and editing) I would suggest a new button, sth like “Invalid Entry”, in the right side. As soon as the button is clicked, the entry will be marked as invalid. It will also be excluded from the current and future practice sessions.
In editor, these entries could be identified by an extra column (e.g. Valid/Invalid). So, it will be easy to find and fix them. After fixing and marking them as valid, it will be again available for practicing.

The realization of the idea of Dimitri would be a really a very useful new functionality!
