Description Matija Šuklje 2008-08-31 23:36:30 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I use ConTeXt as my TeX macro package (instead of LaTeX) and thus I also added to Kate the ConTeXt highlighting file. But although I gave ConTeXt highlighting a much higher priority in Kate then for LaTeX, it works only in Kate and KWrite, but not in Kile.

Steps of reproduction:
1) install ConTeXt highlighting for Kate (available on kde-files.org and GHNS)
2) in Kate settings, under "highlighting" give ConTeXt a higher (e.g. 20) priority then LaTeX (e.g. 0).
3) open up a ConTeXt .tex file in Kate or KWrite — it highlights it accordingly
4) open up a ConTeXt .tex file in Kile — it highlights it worngly (using LaTeX highlighting)

Expected result:
* Kile to follow the same highlighting priority scale as Kate and thus use the ConTeXt highlighting in the above case.

I am still affected by this, using Kile: 2.9.60.

I have even removed *.tex from the list of extensions for Markup/LaTeX, as I use ConTeXt exclusively. Somehow it still loads the LaTeX markup.
